This 3,600 sq. ft. full-service branch office was part of a larger comprehensive facility plan developed by Daniels and Zermack that included the purchase and renovation of a drive-up branch and the construction of a 2,000 sq. ft. addition to the credit union's main office.
Keeping a "family resemblance" to Lima Superior's main office, this building raises its clerestory windows higher to enable passing motorists to see the building and signage from the main road a short block away. Daylight from these high windows floods the lobby area with light, carefully controlled to prevent glare from disturbing staff or customers.
A reception station near the entrance directs members to service locations, the safety deposit vault, financial counseling, and lending. For teller convenience and efficiency, the drive-up teller area is placed directly behind the main teller area.
